Dazzling Diva #63

Wednesday, February 18, 2015

I'm back with another Dazzling Diva Challenge brought to you by Add a Little Dazzle, and today we're putting a new spin on things and using a mood board as our inspiration:

Isn't it fantastic?  What a lot of inspiration to get that mojo going!!!  And here's where my mind went:

Now you're going to have to trust me on this...that embossed heart is actually silver, just like in the mood board.  After 35 or so shots, I gave up on trying to get it to photograph right...

I've stamped a background stamp diagonally across my card base, added a die cut wood look tag, complete with twine.  The heart has been die cut from the reverse side of a sheet of Add a Little Dazzle craft metal and run through an embossing folder and a simple sentiment completes the card.

Here's what I used:
Paper:  Simon Says Stamp and MME Necessities - Wood
Ink:  Hero Arts Black and Versamark
Stamps:  Lawn Fawn Teeny Tiny Backdrops and MFT
All the other stuff:  Add a Little Dazzle craft metal, Big Shot Pro, Verve A Cut Above Jotted Heart die, twine, SU! embossing folder, MFT Pierced Traditional Tags STAX, foam adhesive, Glossy Accents

Challenges entered:

Craft metals are available by clicking the link in the right column:

Would love to have you join our Dazzling Diva Challenge!   Use of AALD craft metal sheets is not a requirement to play along, but we'd love to see you use them! There is a $15 gift certificate up for grabs.

Don't forget to check out all the fabulous inspiration from the rest of the design team...just click on the challenge button above to check it all out!

Back soon with more my sweet friends...

  5. LOVE the mix of elements. The stamped tiny hearts for the background are so sweet ... and I love the way the metal sheets take embossing ... deeply etched and gorgeous! Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers. xx
