Just like interior design, it's easy to start the card making process with a jumping off point. Mine...the twine I recently received as a freebie in a recent Lawn Fawn order :) Started out with a die cut piece of designer paper. Then I added the dots with a stencil and some Distress Paint. Didn't want careful and perfect, just some dots on my paper. At this point, I added the twine.
The flower has been made with an Add A Little Dazzle craft metal sheet in Pretty Peacock. It's been cut three times and two of the layers were dry embossed. I added some Inka Gold to the embossed layers and then started bending and playing with the different petals. Once that was done, I used a piercing tool through all three layers and added the brad. It was originally clear, but I wanted to change the color to lime green, so colored it with a Copic.
Love the fun font for the "thanks" die from Lawn Fawn! Simply die cut it in black and added it to the banner. Then finished by stamping the rest of the sentiment...also in black. Put it all together and done!
Here's what I used:
Paper: Bazzill Marshmallow White, SU! Basic Black and an unknown piece of Basic Grey designer paper
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Lawn Fawn A Good Apple
