Hope you have your sunglasses on. Playing with plaid today, just in case you hadn't figured that out *big grin*.
Again, more techniques from the Online Card Classes One Layer 3 class. I daresay that Laura Bassen may be the queen of plaid...she has an amazing ability to combine just the right colors and widths of stripes.
This is actually very easy to do. I've used a couple of strips of masking tape and just placed them up and down the card, varying the thickness as the colors were sponged on. Didn't really think about it...just did it.
The large heart is an inlaid die cut that I stamped two different sentiments over. Added some little pink hearts popped up on foam tape. Then added some Wink of Stella on the little hearts and across a few of the stripes and done!
Here's what I used:
Paper: Gina K. white
Ink: Distress Inks in Peeled Paint, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Seedless Preserves and Peacock Feathers; and Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Clearly Besotted Say It In Style
All the other stuff: Big Shot Pro, Spellbinders heart die, sponges, masking tape, Wink of Stella pen, foam tape, heart punch
