Think Big

Monday, February 10, 2014

After the neutral black, gold and white color combo yesterday...thought it was time for a punch of color!

The larger floral images were stamped first in navy, then I used a sponge dauber to add a bit of color to a few of the circles.  Next the smaller dots were stamped randomly in two colors.  The faux ribbon across the center of the card was stamped in all three colors.

Next comes a vellum die cut tag with a bit of baker's twine through the top.  Then, a die cut star stamped with half of the sentiment and a die cut banner with the rest of the sentiment.  The die cut banner has been popped up with dimensionals.  Had to add a large button simply because of the "think big" part of the sentiment!

A little sprinkle of sequins and done!

Here's what I used:
Paper:  Gina K. pure luxury white, SU! Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and vellum
Ink:  Hero Arts Navy, Lime Green and Tide Pool
Stamps:  Hero Arts Dauber Bunch and Anything Can Happen; Mama Elephant Basic Borders
All the other stuff:  Big Shot Pro, MFT Tag You're It die, WPlus9 Star Stackers die, Lifestyle Crafts Banners and Arrows die, MFT button, baker's twine, dimensionals, sequins, sponge dauber

  3. Sweet! Love the stamped and sponged circle background and the faux ribbon is AWESOME! Great colors ... and perfect with your button and star embellishments. The vellum tag is perfect as it doesn't cover up that gorgeous background. Great job!
