Sorry for your loss

Monday, December 30, 2013

Sadly, I need a sympathy card today for someone who has experienced a very tragic and unbelievable loss.

This card is for the CAS challenge over at Splitcoast where we are to take one of Jen's cards and make it into a CAS design.  Here's the card I used for my inspiration:

My card was a simple 5 minute card.  The Hero Arts image was stamped twice in Memento Tuxedo Black.  Then it was dry embossed with the Tim Holtz checkerboard embossing folder.  I wrapped some baker's twine around the piece and added a die cut tag from Sizzix with the sentiment from Verve.  The tag is held in place with a large round dimensional.

The bottom corners were rounded with my Corner Chomper and done!

Back soon with more...

  1. Sorry to hear of your friend's loss - sure your card will touch them in their time of grieving. Roses in Winter is such a lovely set and you have showcased it fabulously here :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my blog. You've made my day!
