Snowy Warm Wishes

Time for some serious distressing today.  Gave my little distressing tool a real workout today...lol.

I've used the sketch from the sketch challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers and turned it on its side.  The card base has been embossed with the Tim Holtz retro embossing folder.  Next comes some scraps of vellum that have been distressed and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Then comes a piece of designer paper with fiber paste pushed through a chevron stencil...hadn't cleaned the stencil so some inks mixed in with the paste and that's ok.

A small square of another designer paper that's been cut with the MFT notebook edge die and again distressed.  On top of that is a long rectangle of yet another designer paper that's been distressed.  I heat embossed the Waltzingmouse sentiment and added bits of "snow" here and there at the same time.

The snowflake's been  made with a Martha Stewart punch and is topped with an MFT button and some added twine.

That's it...that's all...back soon with more!

OK, well there might be just one more thing...GO RIDERS!!!!  The Grey Cup Festivities start today...this town will be rockin'...if you are not familiar with the Saskatchewan Roughriders...just Google it...we are some of the loudest, craziest football fans evah!!!!
