Art is Life

Haven't done a Tim Holtz tag in forever...  His tag today features his new Remnant Rubs...which I just happen to have (insert *grin* here). You can find his tag for May and all his instructions right here.  Have to say...his Remnant Rubs are so easy to work with...not like some others I've tried in the past...just sayin'...

Pretty much everything on this tag is from one of Sir Tim's lines except for one stamp and the seam binding.  I've purchased a whole roll of Hug Snug in white to customize for whatever I'm working on.  It's cheap, the quality is wonderful and it dyes very easily.  Simply color it with Distress Stains, Inks, what have you, spritz with water, crinkle it in your hands and then dry.  I do use disposable rubber gloves to do this...unless you're into beautifully dyed hands...LOL

Here's what I used:
Paper:  none
Ink:  Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black, Shabby Shutters Distress Ink and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
Stamps:  Tim Holtz Mixed Media, Tim Holtz Fancy Flourishes, Tim Holtz Papillon, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Classics #1, Stampers Anonymous
All the other stuff:  Ranger #8 tag,; Shabby Shutters, Tumbled Glass and Chipped Sapphire Distress Stains; Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs; Tim Holtz Type Charms; Tim Holtz Alpha Parts Ransom; Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher; Tim Holtz Wire Pin; Tim Holtz Word Sticks; Shabby Shutters and Black Soot Distress Paints; Hug Snug seam binding; water spritzer; heat gun; sponges; cloth; Ranger Glossy Accents

Thank you for joining me today...back soon with more!
