December 25

Friday, November 2, 2012

Hello everyone!  Well it's time for this stamper to get going on her Christmas cards...this is the first of many you'll see over the next few weeks.

I've used the Deconstructed Sketch#76:
This card also qualifies for the Free For All Challenge over at Splitcoast...using distressing.

I made my card with the Spellbinders Grand Big Scallop Circles die in SU! Crumb Cake.  Then cut a piece of designer paper, distressed and inked it and placed it right over top.  Next comes two die cut circles...one in Very Vanilla and heavily inked and one in a coordinating designer paper that's been distressed and inked.  Then, there's a strip across the middle of the card done the very same way.

The sentiment is a 2" square that's been die cut with the MFT Die-namics Notebook Edge die.  Then it was stamped with a Christmas tree and the number 25.  The stars have all been cut with the MFT Die-amics Stacking Stars die and the Star Border die.  Then I did a little stitching and once the stitching was done I stamped the "December" across the banner and the focal point.

A few buttons, some pearls, some seam binding, twine and....done!

Here's what I used:
Paper:  SU! Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Teresa Collins Christmas Cottage
Ink:  SU! Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke
Stamps:  MME Lost & Found Christmas and Waltzingmouse Stamps
All the other stuff:  Big Shot Pro; Spellbinders Grand Big Scallop Circles; Spellbinders Circles; MFT Notebook Edge, Stacking Stars, Star Border Die-namics;  Hug Snug Seam Binding, misc. buttons, distressing tool, sponges, sewing machine, twine, misc. pearls

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
