You Make Me Smile

Another card that is headed to Houston for the Hope You Can Cling To card drive over at Splitcoaststampers.  Lori challenged us to make a card for the kiddies.

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics.  Her little dress has been paper pieced.  The image was masked and then I sponged the background.  I wanted to give it a bit of an ethereal feel so once it was sponged, then I added two coats of Tim Holtz Picket Fence Distress Stain and then inked the edge a bit darker.  Each of the different designer papers was also inked a bit.

Then I added three different buttons with a little bit of twine through each.  The twine has been lightly inked with SU! Perfect Plum.

Here's what I used:
Paper:  Gina K. heavyweight in ivory, SU! Perfect Plum and MME Love Me
Ink:  SU! Perfect Plum and Memento Tuxedo Black
Stamps:  The Greeting Farm and Inkadinkado
All the other stuff:  Big Shot Pro, oval nesties, MFT Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX, MFT buttons, misc. twine, sponges, Tim Holtz Picket Fence Distress Stain, Eclipse masking tape, red liner tape, Copics:  BV000, E21, E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, E39, E42, E43, R20, R81, R83, R85, and W3

More HYCCT challenges coming, so you'll see another posting soon!  In the meantime hope you're day is terrific!
