Mouse in the House

Just kidding!  Please...no mice in the house!  They're cute little creatures in the great outdoors but not so much indoors right?

I've used the June Sketch For You To Try for this card.  It lends itself to so many different ideas doesn't it?

The image has been stamped on a large circle nestie.  Next, the fur on the mouse was colored  and then I used Copic Colorless Blender on an old piece of towel to add a little texture.  Then the rest of the image was colored and I added some sparkle to her bow with a Spica pen in clear.  The whites of her eyes are made with a white gel pen.

Next, I masked off the image and airbrushed a very light pink background, just so it wasn't a really stark white in contrast to the rest of the colors on this card.

The leaves are cut from a coordinating paper and then I added a little more color with my Copics.  Using a craft knife I cut across the bottom portion of the image so that the dotted piece of card stock could be tucked under the image.  Sort of makes it look like she's leaning on it.

The sentiment was stamped on another piece of coordinating paper and raised up with dimensionals, as were the leaves.
