This card has been designed for the Viva la Verve June Week 2 Challenge over at Splitcoast. Yes, I'm still working my way backwards through the challenges for this month. One more to go!
What a fabulous sketch from the oh so talented Tosh Leyendekker for us this week. Lots and lots of layers, so I used most of them and went with a vintage feel for this card. These designer papers really work for the vintage theme and by adding a little lace and some pearls, I think it works well. The pearls were originally white and I used a Copic to color them.
All layers are distressed with a distressing tool and then inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The little flower peeking out from behind the button with the twine in it was stamped on designer paper and distressed with the Walnut Stain too.
Here's the recipe:
Paper: Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake and Always Artichoke; Kaisercraft These Days
Ink: Stampin' Up! Always Artichoke and Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Stamps: Verve Beautiful You
All the other stuff: Big Shot Pro, Nesties circles, paper crimper, Tim Holtz Accoutrements (button), twine, Melissa Frances lace trim, misc. pearls, Copic E000, distressing tool, sponges
Hope you all have a super Sunday!
