This card is for the Hope You Can Cling To challenge over at Splitcoast. Today, our challenge, Things Are Looking Up...in other words things you can see when you look up.
I chose to make a CAS card today. Simple stamping right? Well, it should have been very easy...but do you know how many black inks smudge on coated paper? I do! After several attempts I found that Brilliance worked best when heat set.
The angel and sentiment have been stamped in the Brilliance Graphite Black and then heat set. Next, I cut a strip of black card stock and punched it with a Martha Stewart punch. Then it was adhered to the lower part of the card.
Easy peasy...it just doesn't get much easier than this...if your inks don't smudge LOL!!
Paper: Stampin' Up! Brushed Gold, Basic Black
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black
Stamps: Lockhart Stamp Co. and Stampin' Up!

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!
